    Folks,
I'm on the look out for some new lenses for my D70s. There are so many places on the web now, and so many differing prices. I'm interest in Nikon and Sigma lens, prime first, then (tele)zoom.

Does anybody have an up-to-date comprehensive online shop to recommend?
I can usualy find a decent enough review, but then it's another thing trying to get a place that sells it in the UK.

    Cheers!
    Steve.

Actually I found one which seems to be very good:
    http://www.warehouseexpress.com

    Any more?

look no further than http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Kea-Photo. Hong Kong to wherever you are in 3 days flat. Might not have the greatest range of kit in the world but it's not a bad range. Always kept up to date and bloody good prices. I should really ask them for commission at this stage...

Do you find you have to pay VAT or import duty when buying from Hong Kong?

7dayshop.com have excellent on prices for lenses; but unfortunately for some reason they stopped stocking Canon lenses and cameras altogether a while back  I think they still have Nikon stuff though.

I read a newspaper article a few weeks back where they gave a summary of what duty was charged on goods from which country. Most was from the States, but there were some oddly low figures for other countries. I remember that HK was only about EUR600, which surprised me because I had to pay 30 of that (on the little Pentax I bought on eBay). Either I was very unlucky or their figures were wrong.

Don't forget www.technikdirekt.de - an excellent German site with an english language website. Very good prices.

I can recommend 7dayshop.com too, I got a Nikon AF-S 24-80mm there before Christmas for £129, LESS THAN HALF what Amazon had it for.

Always had good service from them.
