Are there archives in existence for the old 'Scout Association of Ireland' ?

Particularly photographs or written documents ?

I'm interested in locating information on some scout troops I was involved with in the late 70s.

In particular I'd like to find out what happened to a couple of the leaders in one troop in the SAI.

try emailing info@scouts.ie and ask to get in contact with the heritage group - I believe they look after all the old archives.

As for getting in contact with the leader in question - thats a bit more dificult!
best bet is to approach their old group and see what they know, you won't get much out of hq.
