I find them unbelievably useful and they allow me to remember large tracts of information, but so far I haven't come across any list I need to remember that they would work for. What do you use them for?

I used them when I was doing the leaving. Look up Tony Buzan, he also does books on speed reading techniques.

This should explain them and how to use them. I use them for revising history. Useful for bringing large chunks of information the front of your mind quickly.
