    The wolf and the bear are another two I can think of. The golden eagle was, but has been reintroduced IIRC. Dinosaurs etc if you go back far enough.....

    they had george hook doing nature photography show, they said something like all our large birds of prey had been extinguished but they had reintroduced 40 golden eagles in donegal in the last ten years

    Red kite

    Goshawk- although may be on the way back.

    Corn bunting- only in last few years...

    Can't think of any more at moment.

    I think I read somewhere we had beaver here at one stage... it was definitally in Scotland.
