Try asking in your local electrical shop. They might be only too glad to get rid of a few bulky TV boxes.

Thats the best way. Dont buy them because its a waste of money. In the pub i work in theres always a mountain of boxes at the end of the week and most places would be happy to give you a few because it means less boxes to bale at the end of the week.

Been changing houses twice a year for 4 years and theres no need to buy boxes...Go to a supermarket like tescos/dunnes or someone you know who works there. Ask for crisp boxes (like tayto n that) for vry large but not v strong boxes, the fruit and veg boxes are small (area and depth) but quite strong, pasta boxes are about midway. Yes, i work in a supermarket:) There should be no problem hanging on to them for you.Supervalue/centra/spar might be friendlier bout it (local shop).

If you go into Curry's or a big electrical store on a Friday, which is usually when they get deliverys, they'll give you as many boxes in as many different sizes you like. They'll also fold them flat for you.

If you want proper removal boxes and all the associated paraphernalia (bubble wrap etc.), you could try http://www.upak.ie/packing or http://www.packireland.com/

I'm not sure where you are based, but down here in Cork you can ring up Barrys tea and ask them too keep tea chests for you and then collect them at the end of the week. They are made of wood and are quiet deep. There is a cardboard box factory down here also, smurpits its the name.I believe the tea chests are free, they were a few years ago any way.

as said before, don't bother buying boxes... go down to your local shop, fruit&veg, butchers, cash&carry, e.t.c. all of these places will surely have some empty boxes to get rid of, there is a huge amount of cardboard out there, especially since people have to recycle it now, instead of burning it...
