There is a monument of each side of the M.4 motorway (Galway side of the toll plaza). Does anyone know what they stand for?

Dunno, probably the ancient greek symbols for capitalism and corruption.

A certain proportion of all public funding must go on arts projects. They are on all new roads.

Weird one with Glass rods or something on the M1. Also the infamous beehives that it took what seemed like years to finish.
