    I'm playing this on stars, never played a limit tournament before

    any tips?

    so far some match sticks to keep my eyes open....:D

    anyone any others?

    Entered this accidentally one night. Finished at half eight Saturday morning in 14th place. €130 measly dollars for 9 hours of poker!! Played awful for first couple of hours and then copped on a bit. Raise and re raise with premium hands to build the pot preflop. If you don't click..get out.

    Limit is a game where it's ok to go fishing... Bait that hook and check raise to heaven.

    I play a lot of limit cash games but I imagine a limit tourney would be the most tedious experience in the world. How the hell could you possibly play for 9 hours scotty it must have been painful.

    By the time I started to do well the blinds were big enough to mean something. I was in the top five and playing great, thought I'd a good shot at the $2000 or so prize....then got pocket 5's...keep raising...flop is 2 2 5....keep raising again....one guy going with me, big stack as well. Turn is X...keep raising....river is 6....keep raising....guy turns up two 6's to beat my house with a bigger one. Ended up out in 14th a few hands later.
