check out hotel diva, just off union square.
Im not sure of the price but the location is fantastic

Dont forget to visit Alcatraz. It might be worth booking before you go cause the boats fill up very quickly. There is usually a 1 week wait more or less.

I stayed in the Castle Inn last time. Its actually a motel so you have a little kitchen in the room - it was cheap enought too, clean and the staff were really nice!!
