Need directions to Cabinteely/Loughlinstown from M50

I need to get to Cabinteely out in Dun Laoghire. I know how to get myself onto the M50 Southbound coming from the west (Sligo). I was told I need to get the N11 off the M50 at some point, but am unsure what to do after that. I think I have to find a turn off for Loughlinstown?

    Any help much appreciated, cheers.

Yep, take the Cherrywood exit, follow it straight, go over the bridge(which passes over the N11, you are now in Loughlinstown ..keep going straight even more..and you'll end up in Dun Laoghaire, its actually pretty well signposted..which is a little miracle in itself :)

    Thanks mate, much appreciated.

Also, getting there from the city centre (say, O'Connell St.) - how is that done?

I suppose best way to describe it from there would be to go round Trinity college (ie towards Grafton street)..keep going straight there and follow the signs to Dun Laoghaire port..in essance just keep going straight and you'll end up in the Dun Laoghaire area, am assuming once you arrive in Sallynoggin/Cabinteely/Blackrock etc, that you are no longer lost ?

Even if you are coming out of town and are lost, go east and keep going till you reach the sea..then go south, stay close to the sea and keep going south and you will get there :)

If you want Cabinteely, don't go over the bridge, turn left before the bridge, back along the N11 towards Dublin. Cabinteely is back about a mile.

I think he wants to get to Dun Laoghaire eventually, but your advice is correct if Cabinteely is his final destination.
