    Howdy,

    my friend just finished a training program for a grad role and on the final day she was pulled into a room by 2 of the HR ladies. They gave her a reprimand (But not a formal, one for the grad program) saying she was to dominant in conversations.

    The friend has been really upset ever since. She insists she asked other people about it they said they were fine and it just seems to be HR's stance on her. She feel's like she is being singled out yada yada...

    Would that not constitute bullying? They pulled her in 2v1 and criticised her, put her on warning and told her that her position at the company isn't guaranteed (2 year program).

    I doubt they did it for no reason... It doesn't sound like bullying anyway.

    What exactly did the HR people say? Saying she is dominant in conversations is kind of vague. Is she not listening to other people? Is she being bossy/rude?? Is she being aggressive with people???

    "dominant in conversations" that could mean anything. I don't see why it would warrant a warning though. Sounds like a bit of power trip by HR. Even if she is overbearing in conversations, you only have to point it out, not give a warning. The only reason to give a warning was if it was completely over the top. Being boorish, talking over people, etc.
