hey guys have have just build this machine

    AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ 2.2GHz Socket 939, 2MB cache
    XFX GeForce 7800GTX 256MB GDDR3
    Corsair TWINX2048-3200 DDR-DIMM 2048MB Kit w/two matched
    DFI LANPARTY nF4 SLI-DR
    BenQ Lightscribe DVD±RW burner
    Dell DVD/CDRW
    Sony 1.44 Floppy Drive
Thermaltake Armor Black, Aluminium Super tower
Thermaltake Silent Purepower 680W Powersupply, 20/24pin

but i find the powersupply to be annoyingly noisy ( the machine is on my desk)

i am interested in fanless psu's but i have higher power requirnments that i can find in a fanless psu.

is it possible to use 2 psu's ?

It is possible to use 2 PSU's (you just have to short one circuit on the ATX connection) but it's not adviseable. I'd suggest getting a "be quiet" from hitide.ie, they really are very quiet. :)

You dont need dual fanless, u just need a quiet one.

Get the seasonic 500w off komplett. It's apparently pretty much the quietest PSU you can buy. Plenty of power to power your PC aswell, it should make much more juice than your piece of crap thermaltake one. It gets pretty much flawless reviews everywehere.

It's whats going into my next pc :)

I think antec have one that has a fan that only comes on when it's needed. I've never seen it used though. Pretty sure they sell it on komplett.
