Hi! Can anyone reccomend a software programme that can produce a really professional looking slideshow for photos, with alot of techniques, effects etc. I have used Windows Movie Maker to display these photographs, it was good but not good enough unfortunately! I really need this to look professional!

for professional video editing i'd recommend either sony video vegas or adobe premiere, vegas being my personal favourite and is also a fair bit easier to learn than premiere but just as powerful, but neither are free

try avid free, probably good enough for your purposes, but i haven't used it before

Well if it's a slideshow... Powerpoint?, or better still, OpenOffice's Impress is great for slideshow presentations.

Thanx a mil! Its not really just a normal slideshow...im doing a multimedia project for a music technology course, the music and sound design is my main focus but i wanted to add in something different and display some creative photography profesionally and for it to be in sync with my composition. So powerpoint wouldnt really work im afraid..i wish though! gonna look into those sony and adobe ones though..thanx.
