    Hi guys,

A mate of mine plays regularly on PPP, I dont as I am using a mac, and tonight he just realised that he could access percentages. This will make sense to you guys on there I guess, anyhow he was shocked to see that his percentages won on showdown was only 4% but does this mean that when he plays his hands down that he really only wins four time in one hundred or is it to do with all ins , which is what he was thinking himself. Following on from that would it be correct to infer from that stat that he is a fker for robbing pots but not too hot in other areas of his game?

    Cheers

I doubt anyone can be that bad/unlucky and only wins 4/100 hands that actually go to a showdown after river betting (including all-ins)

This stat will mean number of hands that are won on a showdown from the total number of hands played. My own from a small sample size is 81/1416=~5.72%. I'm sure there are others who can give you better guidance from a much larger sample size. I have no idea what constitutes good figures, or if this is even much of a guide given that big pots often end on the turn bet.

I was thinking along those lines myself but being a nosey bugger on my behalf got the better of me. I really dont think anyone could only win that few hands , I think he was going to get on to the manager on the site, at least I think he said there is such a facility on there to find out more. If I knew he won so little hands on showdowns then I would try to get to the same table as him more often!!!!

ppp stats are for real money, stt regular, stt speed/turbo, mtt reg,mtt speed/turbo (2,6,9 seated), my showdown percentage is approx. 30% which looks quite poor for my first 10months online poker.
