Only got it a few days ago but its easily one of the nicest 2005 albums I have heard, along with Cormega's The Testament and OPIO's Triangulation Station.Beats are strong throughout and you've got to love One Be Lo's delivery, particurly on The UNDERground and The Ghetto.Nice lyricist too,got a political and social edge but its not too strong like IT.Besides one derogatory remark towards jews on Propaganda there's very little wrong with this album so far.

Anyone else get this album yet?

    Yep, good solid album.
He is a good Emcee and the production on this album is very good. He reminds me of Mos Def on this album, same kind of sound and delivery.
Certainly one of the better albums of 2005.

You should check out the Binary Star albums if you haven't already, that's the group he was in.

I was wondering about that line, it seems out of place in the album.
It's decent enough, I think the beats are probably the best thing about it.

Yeah it feels completely out of place.Ruins an otherwise excellent track.

There's just nothing wrong with this album.Beats are strong throughout and his flow is one of the nicest I've heard in ages.

BTW he keeps speaking about some group,Sub_____?

Been looking for some Binary Star stuff.Nigh on impossible to find oldish indie albums in Cork.

If you've got a credit card check Amazon. I'm pretty sure I saw a Binary Star album there.
Along with critical acclaim, one of Lo's lyrics in the song "Propaganda" has recently come under a great deal of scrutiny from many fans. The lyric under fire reads, "And everything I mention is controlled by the Jew, right?"

"Sometimes it's just what you wanna hear, man," Lo says when asked about the controversial lyric. "I am not anti-Semitic, and I am not trying to say the Jews are horrible people or anything like that. But the way I wrote it, it was a sarcastic line just like other parts in the song. If you ask me, and you listen, and you look at the rest of my catalog, I don't think you see no kind of hatred in a line like that. Preaching hatred and anti-Semitism? It ain't nothing like that."

    Taken from here.

Well that seems a big pretty cop-out,but at least he apologised.

I use Amazon all the time, but I was wondering if there was any indie music store that does hose hard to find old and independent Hp-Hop releases?
