Hi there, a common problem with this is if you installed firefox after you have installed flash, as in if you installed it for internet explorer!

If thats the case, go to http://www.macromedia.com/downloads/ and select flash player.

    Hope this helps!

I have this problem too and that doesn't seem to work.

The flash plays (if there's music I can hear it) I just don't see anything but a blank space.

It was all working fine untill I upgraded to Firefox 1.5

Same thing here, and I've heard of a good few others with this problem. Basically don't upgrade to FF 1.5 if you want to continue viewing Flash appears to be the answer

check your quicktime preferences and make sure quicktime isn't trying to play back swf files. I had that problem before. Stupid Quicktime!

You Need to Disable Adblock's Obj-Tabs option (Tools-Adblock-Preferences-Adblock-Options-Obj-Tabs) or start using Adblock Plus.

If you guys are using Adblock, try disabling the Obj-Tabs option. If not, I dunno.

Try here now to test if it works.

[EDIT] I forgot to mention this also solves the problem where if you opened a webpage with a Windows Media Player movie eg. a gag joke or something before you only heard the sound like Flash now you hear and see as is the case with IE. [EDIT]
