A friend of mine just got a second hand laptop recently, problem is its riddled with viruses, spyware etc. The only way to get rid of it all is a fresh install of XP. He doesn't have the disks or the cd key though.
I have my own XP discs though and I was wondering if there was any LEGAL way of reinstalling XP without having to go out and buy it again.

You can use ProduKey to get back any Microsoft keys for installed software.

Crap, you learn something new everyday :o . It would have to be the same version of XP for your cd to work though.
