    Anyone know on average how long mortgage approval takes after sending in all the forms/documentation etc??

    They tend to take their time, if I recall the branch will check all & send it on to another dept to approve, think it was a little over a week with me.

    I take it you found a property & had it valued for the bank?

    approved in principle the next day.
    Once you give them all the documentation they need it is fast

    It is a new development I am thinking of buying in.
    Have meeting with my broker on Monday, so hopefully he will have some idea. fingers crossed about the whole thing!
