    Hey is there such a programme that would allow me to cut out , say a verse out of and Mp3 file and allow me to store it as a seperate mp3 file?

    inorder to make mp3 ringtones , without having to upload the whole song to my phone, or just to upload the bit i like?

    if there is can i get a name? and where can i get it?

    use audacity as an audio editor
    you might have to get an mp3 plugin thing (lame_enc.dll) so you can save as mp3's

    Goldwave is the simplest thing for cutting and editting MP3's. You need an external MP3 Encoder like Lame but its a good tool..used right it has quite a few advanced features for messing things up a little.

    And yes, it is trialware

    Just tried WavePad this afternoon. Not bad for a free utility. See nch.com.au.
