CASTLE RICHARD was put into my notebook when he came 3rd out of 14 in november.

that was a class 3 race and was 2m 1 furlong and he was very impressive.

this race is a class 4 race and it is 2 mile which should suit.

he is 10/1.

I tend to agree with you on Castle Richard, a definite each way prospect in a race that doesn't look like it will take a lot of winning. He's proven on the ground and has run over further so stamina won't be an issue. The one worry is if backing to win is that he rarely gets his head in front although has many placed efforts.

As you quite correctly said 10/1 is a good price.

It might also be worth keeping an eye on any market moves for Inn From the Cold, it's around 12/1 at the moment. Has been off for a long time but has some decent looking form before that.

I agree masterk, Inn From the Cold looks a decent e/w punt. My punt for this 1 is Haditovski, it had a bad run in a decent field last time out at Wetherby but kept on well in Leicster behind Honest Endeavour in Nov.
