I got one of those crumpler shoulder bags in yorkshire england. It was about 16€ by the time i converted it. Checked out the laptop shop here in st.stephens green and it was 125€ on sale. I couldnt believe it. I knew they were decent but i didnt know they cost that much.
Cant remember the name of the shop, all i know is they were a kind of wholesalers i suppose. Loads of everything-but not much variety. a 'co-op' or something like that rings a bell.

Try out tk maxx. They always have one or two. between 30-70euro range

PCWorld had some laptop backpacks reduced to half price in their sale.

I think Argos had a decent one as well.....

you think I am kidding, I am not, TKMax ...

MDR is right. TKMaxx have some good deals on stuff like this. Even the Crumpler type bags, which are generally mad money elsewhere.

This is the one I was thinking of in Argos - good for the price IMO.....

Theres a different one in Argos for €44.99 , I dont have a catalogue handy but its a grand one. Good amount of padding, separate slip cover for the laptop and plenty of room.

@ whiteshadow - booq bags are slick alright - so are the prices though....

@oxygen - if you search for bags on pcworld.co.uk, it should come up - they dont have a link for that section on the home page

The Bag shop in Tallaght have "jeep" brand laptop bags for €30 - they're grand as long as your laptop isnt really heavy.
