Kickstarting a PC after a PSU change

In my job, Im trying to get a bunch of old P2 PCs working. They all have 32Mb RAM, so to get XP running (albeit at snails pace), i need to take RAM out of half of them and put it into the other half, so they each have 64MB. But I've run into a problem: One PC had a noisy PSU so I replaced it with the PSU from one of the PCs that I took RAM out of, but now it won't boot up; It wont even turn on, not even the PSU fan will turn on. I've tried putting the PSU into the machine I took RAM out of and putting all the RAM into it, but it still won't work. I tried using yet another PSU from another PC in a variety of combinations, and I can get none of the PCs to boot now. Is there some issue about replacing PSUs that i'm not aware of?

Btw, all PCs are same brand (Amtec), same model, so power rating differences shouldn't be an issue.

Plug in the PSU and connect the green pin to one of the black pins, connect a fan or a CD Drive or anything, if the device works your PSU is not dead
