N9-N10 Kilcullen-Waterford - Detailed Map...

This May belong in Accomodation/Property so feel free to move it, but i thought people here might have the answers.

Am considering buying a property along this route.
The problem is the exact route of this road. Is there anywhere handy i could get more detailed maps down to the level of the fields it'll be passing through?

I've looked at www.n9-n10kilcullen-waterford.ie which has some useful maps with the general route. They're not that good at determining whether the road will be on my doorstep, or 500 metres from it.

    Any help appreciated.

    C.

I haven't read the site in detail but http://www.n9-n10kilcullen-waterford.ie/eiswp/index.htm appears to be what you are looking for. It is not clear from what I've read that that is the finalised route.

    There are maps here

    http://www.n9-n10kilcullen-waterford.ie/route-selection/Maps.htm

They appear to be OSi 1:50k maps, so one square would equate to 1km. Enough, I would have thought, to make an informed decision.

    Thanks John,

They were the ones. Just didn't delve deep enough. 175 metres i reckon to the edge of the new road. About the same to the old road(and current railway) on the other side. A nice sandwich to think about. Would this add or detract from the value do you think?

It would only add to the value if there was an interchange easily accessible.

You won't have access to the road from your drive way. But only in Ireland is living on the side of a busy roadway considered a "plus".

The interchange is only half a mile to mile away.

Just have to decide whether the place is worth it. It is really nice and would definitely buy without the new road. There's always some issue. Damn Progress!!:)

    Thanks for all the replies.
