    When u look outside it over at pearse street, wtf are those new glass buildings? Where did they come from? What are they?! (Not trinity buildings, the glass pyramid ones).

    The top floors of the IFSC2 are 'glass piramids', it's in that direction maybe thats it. But they have been there for a while so maybe not...

    Yep, 'tis the Ulster Bank, all right. Personally, I think it's a nice building (the higher middle tower is balanced nicely by the surrounding lower towers), but it has been slated by architectural critics as a "suburban clump", usually due to the architects' re-use of an existing Georgian portico at the corner. It's a very divisive building. Remember, it's just a usual concrete building, with granite bolted on to make it presentable.
