    Does anyone know anything about them?
    I'm been offered a phone a motorola v1050,they've had it for 6 months and are selling it off cheap. The only thing is if its stolen, can you trace the phone's back to me? I wouldn't usually buy something stolen but i think its theres to sell. (someone just put the idea in my head)

    If the phone is stolen, its original user could have the hanset blacklisted. but given that they have not already done this it is unlikely.

    you can check if the phone is stolen by calling the mobile company to which the phone is branded. If there are vodafone logos on it then you can check with vodafone by giving them the IMEI number. this can be found by typing *#06# on the handset.

    I would agree they are a good phone. I am sure there are better but mine meets my needs.
