Have to do a presentation for college on words that inspire me or mean something special. Can be based on a book poem song or film. Cannot think of anything at all! Anyone any words that mean something to them?

There are two phrases that inspire me. The first, my English teacher back in school said to me. They were words that a teacher of his told him (a quote from somewhere) and he felt it would help us realise that the Leaving Cert was just a load of rubbish and put unfair pressure on us. He said "Never let the b*stards grind you down!"

The other phrase isn't as profound. It's from Highlander: "It's better to burn out than to fade away!"

thats not actually in the bible, i checked because i'm a loser. the passage is similar but not the same. ezekiel 25:17 iirc
