    Hi everyone,

Could someone please recommend somewhere in Dublin city centre where I could get some jeans altered? I would like to get two pairs of jeans I got over Christmas taken up as they are a little too long.

    Thanks,
    A.

there's a few places on Abbey St, other side from Arnotts.
A lot of dry cleaners will also get clothes altered for you.

Thanks for yeer replies. I was hoping for somewhere around the Grafton St area (I should have said in my earlier post, sorry)

Peterl, I'm aware of the facility that some dry cleaners offer but I was hoping to get some recommendations of places where people have got clothes altered in the past. The jeans were not on the cheap side so I would like to know of peoples past experiences before having them altered. I've had clothes altered in the past on the spec and had some items of clothing ruined and I'd like to avoid this if at all possible.

    Thanks again,
    A.

South Anne Street (north third of grafton st) 1-2 alterations tailors there
    paid 24E for dress pants shortened/taken in/cuffed
not too happy at first as they were much longer than I wanted, but else ok
