    1971 Volkswagon Super Beetle Convertible
(Originally hardtop, aftermarket convertible conversion, but model on reg lists "1600 Super Beetle Convertible"
    No maintenance history
No NCT required, no road tax, UK plates and registration
    44578 miles
    1584cc petrol engine
Blueish / purple with white snapping ragtop
    Manual transmission
Condition- exterior very good; interior carpet very good; interior general fair; motor runs rough, brakes need replacement
    Doonbeg, Co. Clare
2200 euro o.b.o., buyer takes care of transport, duty, etc.

It looks as though it was sprayed and new convertible hood added within the last year or so. I bought it in July, drove home about 30 miles, but not driven since. My garage is full, so it has been stored outside, and some surface rust has developed, left window leaks. The 1999 MOT documents 44316 miles, so likely the engine is very good; I suspect it simply needs tuning but it didn't turn over yesterday when I tried.

Had originally planned to ship overseas, but shipping costs are too expensive.
Moving overseas in near future, so I have to sale all cars. (Father is a car dealer, hense my addiction:D ) Also have 1968 Triumph Herald convertible and 1994 Nissan Premiere. Possibly someone who deals in cars would be interested in bulk purchase. Photos here: http://steviegaines.com/VW.htm
