Onlie there's a VoIP gateway advertised for 79.99 and a Voip telephone adaptor for 59.99 - can anyone tell me what's the difference and which is better value??

    Models are
Zoom V3 4 Port Ethernet VoIP Gateway
Grandstream HandyTone 286 Analog Telephone Adaptor

I think that the gateway is a router with VOIP and the ATA is probably an ATA that works as a router. I would go with the Gateway. The 4 ethernet ports would be handy and it is only €20 more.

So they are the same thing, just one has four ports ? Other question the router is advertised for use with freespeech - can I use this with blueface ?

I have no idea if it will work for Blueface. It could be locked.
