I have a 96 Opel Corsa, the other day the left indicator started blinking a double speed, the right one is fine. Anyone know what the problem is? and also would this be a automatic failure on the old NCT, since the indicator is working but just not as intended.

Have ypu actually checked the bulbs are operating, not just the interior lamp and clicker.

Indicators are decigned to change frequency when over (short) or under loaded (blown bulb or open circuit).
So check the bulbs all round, and make sure it is the correct filiment is blinking, not the brake or Sidelight and call back.
Get a helper and make sure they are working with and withoughte sidelights and brakes operating, sometimes open grounds or bulbs that are inserted in the wrong way play havok with these items.

as already posted, youve a blown bulb (most likely) and this is how your car is alerting you to the fact.
