    Howdy,

Am at the folks place for the week and I wanna get onto the wireless with my comp.

However they don't have it written down anyplace. They don't know the wiresless router logon and nor do I.

Anyone know how I can find out the wireless key without resetting the router?

This computer has it but its hashed out!

Hi Damnyanks, is eircom your broadband provider, if so, click on the eircom broadband icon on your desktop, go to the wireless tab and your wep/encryption key should be in there. hope this helps!

have a look in kastro's link to a freeware site around here, it has a small app that can unmask any password that is hashed out in this manner.

    The default user/pass on a Linksys WRT54G is admin/admin - worth a try.

I've had that problem before. A quick and easy solution for me was to reset the modem and start again.

If you dont want to to that their is programs on the net to "hack" in to wireless networks. Dunno if this is allowed here so I'll let you google it.
