Recording from NTL to Disk using Avermedia DVB-T USB 2.0

    Need Help -
Just got new PC from Dell, with Avermedia DVB-T USB2.0 TV Tuner.
OS - Win XP with Media centre

I want to record from NTL digital feed (based in Dublin) to disk and manage my programmes through Media Centre.

However my TV Turner is not picking up any channels, it seems to be defaulted on a DVB-T as the standard singal, yet it should be able to pick up analogue and other formats.

Is it possible to use this TV turner in Ireland? Is anyone out there using it successfully?

Any recomendations on other USB TV turners that will work for me are very welcomed.

    :)

Since found out that I have been sold a bit of a dog by Dell.

While it was sold as a DVB-T device, Dell assured me that it could take other signal sources, such as analogue, now they have said that this is not the case and it is only DVB-t.

Now they are proposing a ATI TV Wonder Elite - which I have found out only after 1:30 hours on the phone to dell and 11 customer care people later!!!!!!

has anyone any experience of this TV Turner?
