Just filled out my CAO form and put this as number one, if i get the points.
Anybody doing it at the moment? Any good? Is it hard work?

I did Sociology and Politics so I can comment on the Politics side if not the History! Politics is pretty good generally but it's not really what you might expect it to be. I thought it would be lookign at what's going on in politically in different places (like say the Democrats and Republicans in the US) but that isn't really what most classes are about. There's some courses that are very theory based and others that are more rooted in what's going on (eg. the war on terror and Iraq). You'll find many classes though are about looking at the different political structures in place in different countries and comparing them (eg. voting system, system of government etc) which can get a bit dry at times.

Overall though it's not bad at all.
