iPod problem after massive file transfer

I put about 35gb of stuff on my friend's iPod (video iPod) last night using Ephpod 2. When I came down this morning, everything had transferred as far as Ephpod was concerned but the player is acting up. I have closed Ephpod having saved all changes.

This is the state the player is in at the moment: There is an illuminated apple logo on a black background which is all I get even when I restart the player. Can anyone help?

I had that problem with the apple on a 60GB photo until I plugged it into the mains charger. It gave me that symbol all the time when it was plugger into the USB port.

I was wondering if he tried to put too much on it nd it had some sort of overload? Just an idea.

Was the software on the ipod from a Mac? Because when I Went from my mac to pc the lot had to be formatted, etc. Before it worked. And it had that "sad" screen.

    Suppose you could try this
