    I'm a total newbie where texas poker is concerned, is there any free online poker games available, I would rather not lose money by jumping in at the deep end because lose I will.Thanks for any reponses.

    All the poker sites have free money games.

    Yopu should also speed up the learning curve and invest in a few books, they will pay for themselves many times over.

    you can download any poker program they all have play money games, www.pokerstars.com have a big play money community, and if you dont wanna download a program you can use www.pokerroom.com they also have play money games,

    however you will not get good at poker by playing with play money, as the players you are playing against do not take it seriously. It is good for learning the rules, which hand beats which etc.
