we're planning on doing a heads-up tournament but structure's etc are hard to come by. taking into account that this will be a student event we're thinking of 5-10 euro buy-in. should playeers start with huge stacks and blinds increasing?? or low stacks with set blind levels? a straight knockout game? limit the field to 32, 16 on each side of the tournament tables, winner would have to win 5 games to be champ, so at max every game can last and hour if we have 5 hours for the tournament. 5 euro per player X 32 players, 160 euro. 100 first place, 40 second place, 10 3rd and 4th..? all suggestions wlecome?

I'd say you should have the blinds increasing because otherwise you'll find a couple of uber rocks matched together who'll be there all day. Have a look at how pokerstars does it, it's a good set up but maybe the blind levels would be a bit long. Maybe copy their structure with 10 minute blind levels? Would work ok I'd say.
