go the keyboad options in your control panel.
make sure your languade is uk english,
not us english

Nope...still doing it wether i choose: english (ireland), UK or US. Any other ideas?

Remove US English. Then reboot. It should work then.

thanks hagar & subway, i removed US english (backward yanks). Its working properly now
