Hi we are planning to book a villa in spain with holiday-rentals.com, they do require payment in full 8 weeks before the date which is no problem, they also require £500 as a breakages deposit, is this normal and would this be a secure company? Many thanks

Don't they have a policy available for you to read that would explain that...? You might want to get recommendations from friends you know that have also booked with this company, to see if it's legitimate or not.
