    Anyone hear which project won?

Anyone been to the expo? First time in years that I haven't made it out.

(And yes, I am a nerd)

Well I was in it, a girl from Kinsale Community School won the overall prize.

Ooo, someone just beat me to it.

Yeah, youngest winner ever - 14 year old. Developed a kit telling when food had gone off... seems like a bit of a poor project to win IMO, but there ya go!

P.S. I saw a rather interesting one from a very young kid on the news...an AM Radio which was powered by the radiowaves. This is very interesting and, technically, very possible - surprised nobody ever thought of it before.

Handy, but I'd usually just go by the best before date, lol

That's pretty cool actually. Sounds a lot more interesting than something that tells me when me bread's gone mouldy!
