    Is that real?

Yeah, that's pretty ****ing unbelievable, isn't it? I think the Doc is going to have some sharp GAS pains now. :v:

For guitar too! And a nice guitar it is.

Super cool. Seems to work great too.

Here's a similar idea in a prototype 'berger from way back.

No-one's ever gonna believe this, but that idea has been floating around in my head for the last 2 weeks....but I'd have no clue as to how to actually engineer the thing. :(

If I had that guitar and had to sound like that, I'd rather play with stumps.

Woaw that is a fantastic piece of work!

Wow, fantastic bit of engineering alright

I'd be interested to see if the nut lowers when the frets go in (playing in the lower fret area sucks balls on a fretless unless you adjust the nut for lack of frets). Coola boola :)

I'll be interested to hear what the good Doctor thinks... when he gets here. I thought it was cool for sure :v:

It's cool alright, but I'm massively paranoid about even the smallest thing affecting the tone of an instrument, and the neck itself looks a bit suspect. But as I said, I'm paranoid.

But can anyone see any use in it? Like I doubt many people would suddenly switch to fretless for spontaneous slide action at a gig or whatever....

You kidding? In my cover band, it would be just the thing for going from 'Detroit Rock City' to 'Only Women Bleed', or from 'Godzilla' to 'Do You Feel Like We Do' on my bass.

    I want one!

Edit: And my guitarist might think it's cool to flip from 'War Pigs' to 'Slow and Easy' quickly.

    :v:
