Can anyone recommend their ATAs/other ATAs as their seems to be a lot of them out there. What should someone look for in an Analog Telephone Adapter?

Another question: I intend to move over fully to VoIP and get rid of my Eircom account. What I want to do is physically disconnect the Eircom incoming line and then plug one of the ATAs ports directly into Eircom's wall socket at one end of the house and use the phone connected to that same Eircom system at the other end of my house. Will this work?

    Kev

I believe it will work. Post here if it does as I have never heard of anyone doing this.

    As for ATAs:

QoS, two phone ports. It really depends on your set up.

I may be selling a Sipura 2100. It is a good ATA so if you're interested send me a PM.
