Party are currently Beta testing a new client which you can download here. Not a lot has changed, but what has changed is of great significance: You can now resize tables to fit your screen. Although this feature is only available on Hold'em tables atm, and the graphics become quite grainy (on my 17" CRT anyway), I will admit that this is a fantastic development for multi-tablers everywhere.

It's a pity that the rest of the client is sitill so utterly shíte.

at last a resizable client.. why poker sites studied approximately 0 usability studies, ignored all rules of GUI programming and still do nothing about it is beyond me..

They've also stopped datamining of observed tables. Possibly not that usefull anyway for Omaha/NL tables but those crazy limit players sure like to be able to amass statistics on 10 tables while having their dinner.

Because even though this is the case, they still have lots of users and are making shed loads of money.

What pressures are forcing them to change ?

    Competition!

Why do you think the sites spend as much as they do on marketing?

On a related not, I like what bodog have done with their new client - you can open three tables simultaneously from the main lobby so that you can get thumbnail type views of all your tables.

    Bodog games are very soft.

I think I might take a look at Bodog some time in the near future. Do they have any Hi/Lo games?

Is datamining gone completely already from party or is it just if you're using the Beta software?

Finally purchased Pokertracker Omaha this week and I'd been planning to datamine the fúck out of all the Hi/Lo tables up to 15/30 (where I'd like to be in 2 months' time).

Is any one having trouble downloading the Party Poker Beta. Do you need to uninstall the original Party client, or is the download link just dead??
