    Tonight on RTE, 10:15
Hector hangs out with Johnny Murtagh

Funny, irreverent and always entertaining this series follows on from the resounding success of the first series of Hanging with Hector on RTÉ One in Autumn 2004.

Hector 'hangs out' with various personalities of Irish interest and gets a feel for what their lives are like. Hector's informal style allows guests to enjoy a more relaxed way of being prodded under the camera's gaze!

Hector meets Johnny Murtagh, one of Ireland's most successful jockeys and the winner of the 2005 Epsom Derby. From the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in Paris to the last day of the season at Leopardstown, Hector follows Johnny through losses and wins in the exciting and unpredictable world of top-class horse racing.

Was a grand watch for a thursday evening. I'm a big fan of behind the scenes coverage in everything, from sports to music.

The music during the Arc bits was great - "Ennio Morricone - Once upon a time in America"

Also when they were running - "Nina Simmone - Sinnerman"

    For those interested.

I usually cant stand his stuff but i thought tonight was watchable enough. Johnny Murtagh seems like a nice guy and in fairness to him he was a good sport and made plenty of time for Hector. The two of them worked well together

It was a decent watch, hector gets a bit annoying after a while though.

hector is a pain in the hole. can't watch him for more than ten minutes usually but Johnny Murtagh is a cool dude - cooler than Hector thinks he his !!
