already the chipset fan on my lan party sli mobo has gotten extremely noisy and its not spinning properly, i've cleaned it(not that it was dirty) ,noise is still there, just seems to be a faulty job.
Anyone know what a reliable brand would be??

    Vantec iceberq 4 (non pro)

It dropped my temps 10c and is extremly quiet.

The mounting holes need redrilled in the heatsink to avoid a small capacitor on the motherboard, but it reallty is simple if you have any diy skills at all

You could go the passive cooling route with a Zalman ZM-NB47J for €7.

Yeh, was looking at those too but i'm worried about fitting it behind the graphics card, of course it IS an sli board, i guess i could move the card to the lower slot
