Want to get a fta system - what are my options

we currently have sky digital and ntl cable. we have two ntl cable points in the house. we are thinking of getting rid of ntl cable and replacing it with a fta system and using digisenders to send the fta to other tv that is currenly using a ntl cable point. i know we wont get the irish channels on fta however we will have these on sky.

Our sky dish is attached to the chimney (i know it a bad idea!) so i know that getting an additional sky digibox will be problematic.

what are the costs involved in getting a fta system with a new dish installed? any recommendations on installers etc?

    many thanks

It might be handier to put a Quad LNB on your Sky dish, so you can connect up to 4 receivers, either standard digital receivers, or Sky digiboxes.

If you want a seperate dish put up elsewhere, that shouldnt' be too much hassle either, depending on building.

I'd say a FTA system installed woudl be around €300-€350 or so.

To recommend installers, we'd need to know your general location.

Byte, hi ,many thanks for your reply, I am in Donaghmede D13 . i was under the impression that no installer would go near a chimney mounted dish either to remove it or to add to it.
