Hi i am trying to find out some info about how difficult it is to successfully apply as a mature student at Trinity.
The questions that dominate are what do they look for most in a mature student application: an interest in the subject or ones ability to cope with the course? I really would appreciate any info whatsoever as i think personal opinion and experience would be helpful. To fill in the gaps i am thinking about doing pharmacy. I am 23, irish and have a computer science degree. Since i graduated in 2004 i have worked full time in a pharmacy and feel its more of a calling than computers....
    thanks

Well if you're only a couple of years out of a degree they know that you've not lost the knack of studying. And if you're working in that area it will look good on your application too. I think most courses but aside a small number of places for mature students so it depends on that too. But as Agent Smith said, wait for Edumyth to come online, he'll answer all your questions and more.
