    Folks,

Does anybody know if it is possible to hookup a PC to any HDD/DVD recorders?

I did a quick google on this and drew a blank. I'm thinking of getting a HDD/DVD recorder soon and would considering paying a few quid extra if I could hookup my laptop & PC to it via USB/Firewire/Wireless? to make backups to DVD. Does anybody know if this is possible?

    Ta.

    Cheers Hellboy.

How do you have them connected. I did some rooting around on the spec of this model and couldn't see anything about hooking up a PC.

Kiss mulitmedia dealy, 538 euro on komplett. Hard drive only, no DVD drive AFAIK

    Supports wifi and LAN connections.

AFAIK most dvd recorders don't support a connection to a pc unless you are willing to spend a bit.

    Also saw.....

Panasonic recorder with 400 gig hard drive + DVD RW drive and a LAN connection for 1,685 EURO:eek:

connected via firewire/i.LINK. or you could just connect it to a turner card on your pc using the standard video/audio inputs.

    Connector Specs:

    Composite Video Outputs 1 x composite video/audio input ( RCA phono x 3 ) - front
Digital Coaxial Output 1 x SPDIF output ( RCA phono )
Digital Optical Output 1 x SPDIF output ( TOS Link )
    S-Video Output 1 x S-Video output ( 4 pin mini-DIN ), 1 x S-Video input ( 4 pin mini-DIN )
