SaveKids Ireland is an online community of concerned members of the Irish public who have decided to unite in numbers to demand changes in the current laws that govern child abuse.

The aims of the campaign is to demand changes in the laws as follows

    * The introduction of a mandatory minimum sentence of 6 (six) months imprisonment for the perpetrators of child abuse.
    * The introduction of a maximum penalty of life, which should mean life
    * The establishment of a treatment centre in each county of the island of Ireland to treat the victims of child abuse.
    * The introduction of a tagging system

These are just some of the demands that SaveKids Ireland will be forwarding to the Irish Government over the coming year.

Past failures to have these demands taken seriously by the Government were a result of lack of interest by the members of the public. This is why your help is vital in this campaign to save children from being harmed in such vile and sickening ways.
