A friend of mine told me that Cohen was supposed to be touring again; does anyone know anything about this, there's nothing on his site about a tour...

Apparently he got ripped off or something and is low on money at the moment. So the rumour goes anyway. Would love to see him live.

There was talk of him touring about a year ago but it turned out to be just talk unfortunately.

Dave fanning seemed very certain on the last broadcast a few weeks ago that cohen WOULD be touring this year because hes broke and he needs to tour to stay afloat. Fanning seemed to give the impression that he get his info from a good source.

I read his manager stole/squandered his retirement fund. He's currently suing the guy, but obviously you can't get blood from a stone and if his manager is bankrupt he can't get his money back. I read in the paper last week that he might 'have to' start work on a new material or tour as he has no money. All speculation...

That's pretty much the story I heard, chances are the person who told me heard it from the last broadcast too.

Cohen changed management and is set to release a new album and do a tour. It's probably going to be in 2007. I got this information from leonardcohenforums.com (I think that's the url) and the thread linked to a site and article which said the same thing. I really hope he does. I don't think I'd like to see him in Ireland though. Perhaps France:)

I'd like to see him anywhere to be honest. Although if he plays the point or somewhere like that I'll go spa. Three nights in Vicar St would be ideal.

I think it has to be one night only, hehe. I'd like to see him in Greece actually:) A nice intimate venue. Fingers crossed I'll get to see him before it's too late anyway!
