Is it possible? The reason I want to know is that due to work I cant get the time off work to suit my already booked flights..is there anyway I can change my flight time by a few hours. I have it already payed for so would it be subject to availabilty or would there additional costs for changing. I am flying from Dublin to Amsterdam with Aer Lingus

    Many thanks

you could tell them your flight itinerary was changed from the original and you'd like to try and change it and get the later flight.

I was just thinking off cancelling the flights and rebooking the new flight times. But I am sure that there is some charge for cancelling flights. Is there?

It depends on the conditions of the ticket you bought....you'd probably have to ring them to find out as I don't know if Aer Lingus have fixed policies on changes. It is subject to availability though so if there's no places you'd either have to change the date or upgrade to the next available fare and pay the difference.

If you cancel, you probably won't get a refund.

You should be able to change the times via the aerlingus website (there is a link called change booking up at the top) - however, you'll incurr the following:

"Change fee of €30/£25/$35 or equivalent will be charged per person per segment to all passengers excluding infants on all economy class. No refund will apply. To proceed, tick the box beside the flight(s) that you wish to change."

I'm not sure, but you may also have to pay the difference should the new flight be more expensive than your old one.

Yeah you have to pay the difference too.

This might be a bit of a stupid suggestion but you could ring Aer Lingus and ask.
