    And it only works with the Video or the Nano. I've a 3rd Gen and my sister has a 4th, we both would have bought one if it would work.

    Surely it cant be that difficult to make it work?

    an extra €55 for something that comes with a load of mp3 players as standard. although these are the same people who expect you to pay €20 for a usb cable, so i shouldn't be that surprised... and the remote looks cheap compared to the older 3g/4g one

    a software upgrade could make it work with 3g and 4g ipods, but they'd rather you'd buy a new one instead
